Ambedkar Stadium

Description:
The Ambedkar Stadium is a multi-use stadium in New Delhi, India. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 people.
It is named in honour of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the famous dalit leader and chairman of the Indian constituent assembly.
In 2007, the stadium was renovated and floodlights were installed. In August 2007 the stadium hosted its first tournament under floodlights, the Nehru Cup International Football Tournament 2007.
